FREMONT, CALIF., April 16, 2002 – ZNYX Networks, the leading provider of embedded high-availability Ethernet for CarrierClass™ systems, today announced the appointment of Vish Vishwanath as Vice President of Worldwide OEM Solutions and Professional Services. Mr. Vishwanath will lead the pre-sales architectural consulting effort to drive design wins with strategic OEM partners worldwide. In addition, he will direct a professional services engineering team to provide customized hardware and software designs and development services to assist OEM partners in winning new sales opportunities.

Mr. Vishwanath previously spent several years in technical management at Sun Microsystems, directing the development of OEM solutions on Sun's CompactPCI/Solaris platforms, as well as enabling design wins with strategic OEM accounts for the company's Microelectronics group. In addition, he spent 10 years at Hewlett Packard, where he spearheaded technical development within the PA-RISC architecture/hardware and HP-UX Core Kernel groups. Mr. Vishwanath holds an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.S. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi.
